I hope you are all feeling excited, maybe nervous in anticipation of the reveal today which will be our nutrition and exercise plans for the first week of ROUND 2, 2012. 12 WBT!!!!

I had no idea how much my whole life could have changed so quickly.
As you may have seen us saying, "This is so much more than a weight loss program". It really is.
For me, it has given me confidence, strength, friendships, affirmation, courage, focus, LIFE!!!
To see the little caterpillars starting to build their cocoons knowing the beauty of the butterfly that will emerge....excuse my metaphor, my little caterpillars :
)...but you will become butterflies.
I get so excited thinking about all the grandness that is about to unfold..so excuse my passionate rambling.
I wanted to reflect and impart some of the best snips of advice that came to me during my first round.
* Don't think, just do...in other words JFDI (Just Do It)
* Find a way to move every day, that you would be happy to do for the rest of your life.
*This is not a destination, it is a journey, and there will be bumps in the road. Pick yourself up and keep going.
*Grow your own herbs!!! With all the gorgeous fresh recipes we have access to, it is wonderful and handy to have your own pot of herbs in the yard to pick whenever you need.
*Just when you think you are done, do a little bit more.
*Don't let the scales dictate your mood. If you have done everything right, you can expect a good result. Don't jump on in hope something has happened if you have not done all you can to make the numbers go in your favor. If the result is not the best, look at what you could have done better.
*Drink your water!!
*Be a woman (or man) of your word. If you commit to something, see it through.
*Be brave. You will never know if you can do something until you try. The wonderful thing is, that if at first you don't succeed, try and try again, because anything is possible.
*You CAN do it!!!
On the eve of my second round, I must admit, I have set myself some pretty big goals. I am having moments of my old useless girly self, when I doubt if I can actually see these things through, but there is no backing out, and I know the feeling I will get from achieveing these goals will be far far more powerful than these fears I let wash through now.
To the very end...no matter how long it takes...that is where I am headed :)
Get set everybody!!
ps. Do not stress about the fitness test. I guarantee, it is the most wonderful esteem boosting tool. If you put in the training, you will see your fitness improve in leaps and bounds. This first one is just your starting point..do not let it get you down.
