Good Morning South West Sydney!!
Like most others, I am a Blogging novice, and I promise to get the hang of this real soon, so forgive me for no bells or whistles this week.
For those of you who don't know me, I am :

Quick story: Been a struggling fatty since the age of 8 when I was diagnosed with a back condition and was not able to play sport or exercise. By the time the back had stabilised, I had lost all confidence in my sporting ability. I pretended I was too cool for sport and did it only for a laugh.
Been to weight watchers, Jenny Craig, Gloria Marshall, lost weight gained weight.
Struggled with depression in my 20 and gained 30kgs in one year on antidepressants. The bigger I got, the less likely i was to leave the house to exercise or anything else. I vowed I would never get bigger than 95 kgs.
Three years ago, and after three pregnancies, one full term, and a severe case of post natal depression and more meds, I found myself at 107kgs!!! OMG!!! I was floored.
My cousin and I were comiserating on facebook one night and she too said she had hit the same number and gone back to weight watchers. We went together, and walked together, we cracked the 100 kilos, and then I moved down here. I stayed with it , and got to 86kgs, and then found out I was pregnant. So after giving birth in September 2011, when bubba was 6 weeks old, I marched back into Weight watchers. My first weigh in back was 97 kilos..that was the end of October 2011.
Today I am 77.2kilos, most of that I have lost in the past 15 weeks.
My goal is 65kilos, so I was aiming for that by the end of this year, but I am pretty confident I can whip that off by the end of Round 2 2012.
So that is where I am at now.
As a sharing tip I wanted to remind you all about being Thankful on this Thursday.
Each morning we wake up, try to find something to be grateful for. For me, everyday I actually wake, I consider it a bonus. There was a time when I had wanted to sleep and never wake, and now I am truly grateful for new eyes to see the world in a different light.
When your square gets limiting...think outside of it!!!
For the days when our legs are killing from the workout of the day before, be grateful for your arms. For the days when you could not walk another step, jump in the water and swim.When the kids are too sick for creche, rug them up in the stroller pop on the cover and walk them with you.
Don't be afraid of the new things and the different things in life.
Be brave, for the only way to get where you have never been before is to try the other path :)

Thank you for sharing about your depression. Depression runs in our family & i've seen first hand how it can affect the sufferer as well as the entire family. Congrats on making it through the dark times & on your amazing weight loss so far :)
