How many days till kickoff? Gah!

I'm equal parts excited and dreading it at the same time.

Why dreading you ask?

Because if I'm going to be totally honest and open with both myself and you all then a lot of things will be changing come Monday 7th June.

It's not that some of them aren't happening now but they are happening in a slap dash, spontaneous, less than focused way and I am planning to have a Round 2 like I did in Round 3. Consistent and focussed on the goals that I have set for myself along the way.

It means that instead of coming home at 4pm and choosing to give into being tired and jumping in my new comfy PJs and sliding into bed by 8.30 - yes I did do that last night! - I will be sliding into my exercise gear and walking my shrinking rear end up to my gym for about an hour.

Instead of just chucking some potatoes in the oven or eating pre cooked gnocchi for dinner I will be eating the healthy meals I've planned for earlier in the week.

Instead of stopping on the way home a few times a week to grab something for dinner to cook - or not cook - I'll be shopping online on Wednesday nights ready for the week & fortnight ahead.

Instead of having a small slice of Pavlova at morning tea at work I'll be saying "Happy Birthday but no thanks to a slice I've got my snack. Thanks!"

Instead of eating a packet of chips or a chocolate bar and conviently putting it out of my mind , I'll be putting my food consumption and any random choices in MyFitnessPal and my Cheerleader will be able to check it out ( if they choose to on that particular day ).

Lots of insteads. But I don't like how I am fitting - or not really fitting - into my clothes at the moment, nor what the scales are informing me. So it's time to get my focus back and make my way to the starting line.

Kitchen Makeover is happening tomorrow. Not a whole lot to chuck out but a lot of good stuff needs to go in. Like Kale. Love, love, love Kale "Chips" at the moment :)

Speaking of food - check out what Mumma Rach has been eating today....and yes I stupidly tried the chocoolate too. Oh.My.Yum. Have to wipe that from my memory for a long while ;)
