Yesterday Sunday 9th of July a group of us went to Kernel in Sydney and did our own Hell Hill Challenge we were so lucky no rain nothing but sunshine!! Perfect weather :)
I have to admit my first few goes were tough how challenging is it!!! But it was definitely my mind making it harder for me those first few times! Then it seemed to get a bit easier!
I was so impressed with our group everyone was so supportive and everyone had ago. If anyone couldn't finish a few of us did there laps.
Which brings me to the main point of me wanting to post about this event! If your in the group and have been to scared of joining any events be it because you think you can't do it or fear of being judged or whatever it maybe! I say please come along!!! You will get so much out of it! You come out of it so motivated and believing in yourself!
Me personally in my previous post I wrote i wasn't having a great week not with my weight loss journey but with other stressful things in life and participating yesterday was just what i needed! I felt empowered, motivated and a few things were added to my goals list! Just watching everyone helping each other out and just giving it ago was truly amazing in itself!!!
My team mate Keren mentioned the pink triathlon this is something that I can honestly say was not on my to do list! Hasn't even crossed my mind. I mean me swim, bike ride and run? really? I don't know lol. I don't like running! riding hmm ok, swimming? um totally not me!!! I mean I did swimming lessons in primary school but since then I doggy paddle if I have to! I never participated in swimming carnivals! I was away or in high school we would say that it was that time of month to get out of it! But hey if Ive learnt anything now its to give everything ago! Why not do what I'm afraid of? I really do believe in me and that anything is possible! So why not? It could be fun ;) or not :/ but I know after it I will feel amazing for completing it!
So lets do this!!! I've come up with my action plan to start preparing! and a few of the girls from the group are going to help me out or should I say were going to help each other out and meet up to practice running/bike riding/swimming! This is already sounding like fun!!!
Now I just need to find myself swimmers and a bike!!!! So the goal for this week start looking!! and start organising trainning day :)

Can't wait till next Hell Hill! So wanted to be there with you all...damn asthma/whooping cough :( So excited for the triathlon. Have been wanting to do it for 3 years, and it's finally going to happen! Look forward to our training days!!
Hell Hill looked like a great day .... Wish those dunes were closer to my home! Good on you all for having a go and ant wait to hear how your training goes!
